Vijaypura (Karnataka): A snapped parachute belonging to ISRO’s Nationwide Distant Sensing Centre (NRSC) in Hyderabad was recovered from an open subject in Basavana Bagewadi in Vijaypura district of Karnataka, the police mentioned on Saturday.
“We discovered the snapped parachute and a few tools in an open subject belonging to Eeranna Kambar, a resident of Kannal village in Basavana Bagewadi, on Thursday morning,” an officer informed IANS.
Kannal is a small hamlet in Vijaypura district situated 505 km from Bengaluru, and 380 km from Hyderabad.
The police mentioned they’d established contact with the cellphone numbers printed on the tools and the individuals involved had requested the police to ahead all the things recovered from the sector to NRSC with ample precautions.
“The tools had ISRO’s Hyderabad tackle. The package deal has been couriered,” the police mentioned.
The police additionally mentioned that their prima facie, the tools seem like belonging to some climate monitoring system or a part of some experiment by the ISRO.
