The finalists have been named for the 2021 Andam Style Award and it contains Casablanca by designer Charaf Tajer and Aswad by Sonia Ahmimou, each of whom are French-Moroccan.
Casablanca is amongst seven finalists for the Grand Prize, which comes with €300,000 ($364,996) and a year-long mentorship with Balenciaga chief govt Cedric Charbit.
Different nominees embrace British label Wales Bonner; unisex model Ludovic de Saint Sernin; Space, identified for its Swarovski-encrusted designs; menswear designer Bianca Saunders; Rokh by Rok Hwang; and GmbH, helmed by Serhat Isik and Benjamin A Huseby.
Ahmimou’s Aswad will compete within the equipment class for a €50,000 prize that comes with a mentorship beneath Swarovski’s artistic director Giovanna Engelbert.
The model is one in all three nominated and can go up towards French jeweller Samuel Francois and Austrian studio Revealed By.

The Andam Style Award was created in 1989 by Nathalie Dufour as a three way partnership between the French Ministry of Tradition and style organisation Deli Mode in an effort to assist nurture younger expertise from Europe.
Finalists for this 12 months’s occasion have been chosen from greater than 300 designers who utilized for the award.
This 12 months’s winners can be chosen by a jury that consists of Ok-pop band Blackpink’s Lisa, Chinese language singer Chris Lee and style designers Kerby Jean-Raymond and Phoebe Philo, amongst others, on Thursday, July 1.
